How much are crazy bones worth

Series 5 and 6 plus some exclusives continued in the UK. Other markets got entirely different series -- France, Netherlands, Israel, and Peru especially -- which surface on ebay. One of the reasons I finally joined this site was that I was hoping to find international collectors to trade with.

But that has not happened. First, only two series had actual "rares. There are a couple of characters that also may seem rare due to their popularity. Mosh 1 and Fist 38 and definitely the most popular. These rares still command fair prices, though not nearly as high as when the toyline was current. If you are buying bulk lots or finding them at thrift stores, a short description of the styles might be helpful:.

Series 2 "Evolution"-- all are actually variants of Series 1 sculpts. Half of the sculpts are in new colors, the other half are in glitter-translucent colors. Any glitter-translucent figure is from Series 2.

One thing I always hated is that they did not make a glitter-translucent version of each sculpt. A sculpt either has 5 glitter-translucent variants OR none. Series 3 "Explorers"-- all new sculpts.

Each figure has 4 colors plus one "laser" finished color. These are super-shiny, but not metallic. Any "laser" finish is from Series 3. Series 4 "Power"-- all new sculpts.

One solid-colored and one metallic. This series also featured 10 alt-paint metallics that are truly quite rare. Any metallic Gogo is from Series 4 or it is one of the ten exclusive to the "gold tin.

Series 5 UK -- this is a "best of" series called "Superstars. There are also super-rare versions that are flocked and metallic. Gold Tin -- also released in the UK. This features gold-finished versions of 10 Gogos from Series The UK also had a second, similar gold tin that we did not get. Silver Tin -- the silver tin does not feature metallic Gogos. It is a separate "series" of 10 solid-color sculpts.

There are 5 versions of each figure and are acquired through buying 5 separate silver tins that have distinct lids -- to get the set of Black Tin -- another separate "series," though there was no way to externally distinguish one set from another.

However, 5 distinct tins of 10 Gogos each still made the set of White Tin -- exactly as the "black tin" and issued at the exact same time. I've still seen some at clearance as recent as 6 months ago. You may also find other Series 2 and Series 3 deadstock packs at Walgreens still. Series 1 and Series 4 are long sold out since they were the only ones with the potential of "rare" contents.

All other retailers have sold off their Gogos stock long ago. They were a pretty big deal when they first came out with Series 1, the gold tin, and the silver tins -- quite plentiful at Target, Wal-Mart, and TRU.

Anyway, just looking at the Gogos available in North America, there are 1, distinct figures! Even in the '90s, a Charizard was a rare find.

Now, those who really want to "catch 'em all" will have to pay a high price to add a Charizard to their collections. Red, Blue, and Yellow versions can cost several hundred dollars each. If your Furby was too creepy for you to even take it out of the box as a child, you're in luck. Even used they can fetch high prices.

The Dracula-inspired video game Castlevania is particularly valuable these days. The shooting game M. Even items that aren't in totally pristine condition are worth good money. Other G. A used G. Magic: The Gathering debuted in , and some of the earliest cards produced can fetch several thousand dollars from collectors.

They are very rare, even moreso than the North American Wanted Gogo's. Like the Wanted Gogo's, they are identified by their unique appearance. European releases of the series contained at least one Most Wanted figure per box of thirty packets. There is a planet called Gogo where all the Gogo's Crazy Bones were made. They landed at planet Earth. It took several days to discover what Earth was like. A boy named Thomas saw them and decided to make contact with them.

Thomas was scared at first, but they explained to him that they were there to play. He thought he was dreaming, but he realized he wasn't dreaming. He and his friends had a great time playing with these Gogo's. Then they told Thomas it was time to say Goodbye and there would be Gogo's for them very soon. Then they went back to their planet.

Soon, Gogo's were available everywhere for everyone. Series 1 , Megatrip. Additionally, a Megatrip tin was released with the same name, but was similar to a Cool Gogo's tin with Metallic Colours. Crazy Bones-Pedia Wiki Explore.
