Zenonia should i help the dragon warrior

It must be so inconvenient when you can't borrow sugar from your neighbor on account of the whole mortal feud you have going on.

Oy vey. Anyways, when Regret finds Vicious dying, Vicious basically says "I'm sorry kid, I didn't want to lie to you". Right, so he basically entrusted his kid's future to Zenonia's Sarah Palin. What did he think would happen? And Vicious is actually sorry she didn't keep her promise. It's okay Vicious, you only lived up to your name, like everyone else in this game.

Then after Evil Regret defeats Lady Charity, Lord Virulent appears and is afflicted with the giddy stupidity that infects many cliche villains right when their ridiculous, hackneyed schemes are on the cusp of actually working. I'm paraphrasing a bit here, but Regret: "Why did you kill my father!

I didn't kill your father! Why do I have to die? So unfair. Then Parole tells Regret to stop blaming himself for everything, even though he should totally be blaming himself for everything. Then Regret decides to defeat Zadon to save the people, even though the people don't seem to be affected in the least by anything that's happening in their world.

All right, so I have to confess at this point that this is as far as I've gotten in the game. I just got really curious about how the developers changed the dialogue so that it was basically the exact same story So if someone would post the good version of events, I would really appreciate it.

And if anyone has anything to add for the evil version of events, please do. I'll probably finish the game over the next week or so, and if nobody else has done so already, I'll come back and post the rest of the evil story. I hope there's a resolution to the true mystery of the game, which is whether or not the Item Gal in the very first town is actually Regret's sister, because he did refer to her as "sis".

What the hell was up with that? And if so, does that mean Dupre had another daughter? I'm pretty sure Dupre was actually evil. User Info: FireUzumaki. All right, so I finally beat the game. There is actually not a single sliver of story until you finish, and after you finish you get about half a sliver. So you decide to defeat Zadon and nobody in the entire world cares about this except you and possibly Zadon.

I have to say that when it took me fifteen tries to kill the first boss with his scythe and his legion of zombies, I thought this game would be hard. So after the bosses die, you're supposed to die, but instead you get teleported to a room where Sun, who is supposed to be dead, tells you that Lady Charity, who I also thought was dead for some reason, sacrificed herself for you.

Then Lady Charity's disembodied soul or whatever tells you be good and prove that her sacrifice wasn't in vain. Honestly though, what is Regret supposed to do now? Take over and rule the kingdom? The producers claimed it was too old and too archaic in its design to charge the typical Square Enix tax, so you can snag it up cheaply. Despite being a classic and the fore-bearer of an entire genre, the original Dragon Quest is beyond basic in its design.

You really do nothing but grind, and grind, and grind in one-on-one fights until your hero is strong enough to grind, and grind, and grind on the next strongest enemy in one-on-one fights. Eventually, you rescue the princess and kill the dragon. Boom, the end. Lo and behold, this move makes the game faster, shorter and strips it of its purpose just to please the mobile crowd, exactly the fate many long time fans are fearing will happen in newer games if the series does in fact go entirely mobile.

If you are new to the series, do yourself a favor and wait for the Dragon Quest III port before you make any final judgments on the franchise. Or better yet, just go out buy a Nintendo DS and play all the wonderful Dragon Quest games on it instead. Plattym3 2, Posted March 29, A walkthrough approaches.
