How does shopnbc value pay work




















I wonder if it is the same for QVC. If someone has defaulted on easy pays in the past, they just won't let them use the option. I've used value pay with my Amex and never got a HP. I wouldn't even know how they'd get your info ss if it was on a regular CC.

Used it multiple times with my Amex without a single HP. I've been using QVC for a few years and ordered quite a few things from them. I've never had a HP from them. I've placed orders in the past with HSN on a bank debit card and never got an inquiry.

The last few were destructive as there was a revolving door in management direction and values.

Communication was poor and training was nonexistent for new responsibilities added on as the remaining staff endured several rounds of demoralizing lay offs. Also finger pointing was rampant and encouraged during this period as everyone was frightened that management would identify them for the the next impending lay off. I have known several people who have gone to work for ShopNBC in recent years, one described it as the seventh ring of hell My sage advice would be to beware unless you have a rock solid exit strategy.

Pros Pay was ok, working with the hosts and merchandise was really fun. Cons Managment. No respect for work life balance. Customers beware and read all the fine print. I will not purchase another thing from this company and as for Equifax They are all in bed together. I order from several at home shopping networks and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. They then advised me that it was very hard to change an address once the product had shipped not my problem.

They then had the package rerouted. When we received the package and I opened it, plugged it in. The screen of the television is cracked internally and the view is distorted. They advised that would email me a return ship label and further instructions. Never received the label! So I waited 24 hours and still had no return shipping label in my email.

I called customer service. Explained to them that it was now my 4th attempt at getting this item returned. The representative was extremely rude. She advised me that if I felt I needed to take that route then I should. I was not advised in my first 2 attempts that I would need to send pictures. I asked the representative how long it would take once I send the pictures, she advised business days.

Less than one hour after the order, I went on line customer service not available that early in the morning to cancel the order and I got a message that it could not be cancelled. It was in process. Later, I called by phone. Same response. Could not cancel the order. On July 14 the package came. It was heavy and there was no return label. This happened to me once before with them; I had ordered a ceiling fan.

It looked great on TV, not so much in person. Same thing I had to pay. Because of the cost to return the fan, was one of the reasons I decided to cancel the order on the saw. I emailed them with a complaint and received lip service. Based on past bad experience, I can't say I was surprised that I would have to pay to return it. I called customer service on the 14th. The rep was very nice and tried to issue me a return label.

Surprise, Surprise He was unable to get approval to send a return label. They send return labels for small or lightweight things. But if you order anything heavy or bulky, no return label is enclosed. I am writing this so others are not taken as I have been. I had auto shipment or auto delivery every 90 days of a product.

My first item was ordered March 28th. My first payment April 27th. May 27th 3rd payment. June 27th I was away on vacation and needed to update my credit card information which I had forgotten about. I got back on July 5th and paid the June 27th payment that was due and in fact paid it off. They cancelled my auto delivery and refuse to restart it.

I find that very poor poor customer service by saying I was over too many days and getting my account up to date it was a holiday. I was away on vacation. I find this unacceptable. I will not be purchasing from Evine again. This is very poor customer service and the fact that they don't even try and accommodate you in any way or say let us restart your auto delivery. Sorry you already got your three strikes. You're out on the first time around.

Plus on my auto delivery my second item should have been shipped around the middle of June so therefore I still should have had a shipment coming which I would have paid for it however they just say that they cancelled it before my payment was even due. I bought a fountain from Evine. I received two which I bought, one was missing a part so I paid for the return and had already returned the second one before I found out a part was missing from the other.

I have fighting getting refunded for these fountains for months. They continued to take payments out. I was having surgeries and wasn't aware this was going on. I started demand my money refunded and finally got an answer.

I tried talking to managers but told they are looking into it but nothing is happening. They are stealing my money. Then they said I am not allowed value pay like I will ever use Evine again. I have copies of where they took out payments. I intend to get payment copies from my bank. How can I get my money back? They are crooks. They stole my money for things I don't have and acknowledged they received them back. That's theft.

I see I am not the only one who's been screwed over. Maybe we need to file a joined lawsuit to get our money back and justice and close this company down.

So I shipped that back, they refund my money but I have yet to see it. I also order a set of sheets. Along with the sheets, I got three portable dvd players that I did not order. I also mailed them back and now I'm catching the world of trouble getting my money back.

These people Evine will not refund my money. So, please review before buying anything from Evine. I used my personal credit card to make a purchase using "ValuePay".

Be aware that Evine will run your credit report because this "ValuePay" program is considered a line of credit even though you are using your own credit card and not theirs. They will not tell you this "up front" unless you ask and of course running your credit report for approval will affect your credit score so BEWARE!

I ordered a dress on May 2, I did not receive the dress until January 8, I did not want the dress after the long wait.

It was not good quality and I had ordered it for a special occasion. When I called to let them know I had not received it when I was supposed to they just said I could not return it since it was out of their 30 day return period.

I explained again and the representative said "sorry", it doesn't matter about the reason. I have had 3 different items where they would not help in any way with returning them. I ordered some items in November of with a prepaid debit card. I asked the lady in the credit department why they even sent this item when it wasn't paid for, and why I had never been contacted by phone or letter.

She told me that I should've seen it on my credit card statement that it hadn't been paid for. I'm supposed to know you hadn't charged me. So I called the prepaid debit card gift card company and they told me that they can only go back a year. So I am stuck because I have no proof. Called customer service 2 days after date, told would receive and no record of order. Advised of original price, refused to honor, requested speak to a supervisor, one would not come online, would have call to back, never received call back.

This is not the first time the same thing has happened. I feel they are in violation of some FCC law. Have dealt with this shopping channel for yrs thru their numerous name changes without problem until it became Evine.

They pulled a hard copy of my credit report, without my knowledge, resulting in dinging my credit score. Linell, supervisor for Credit Dept. Evine now has my debit card info including my security code and I'm not happy about that. I never would had attempted to place an order had I known they were going to run a credit check. I have checked yet to see if they have a 10 day hold on my money yet, like others have complained about.

I don't care if the product cost one dollar. When ordering from ShopHQ, I was consistently pleased with the service and had no problems whatsoever. Products arrived quickly and orders were complete and accurate. That however has changed since Evine Live has taken over. My first problem occurred last year when my order never arrived.

After countless calls to Evine with no promised return calls, I discovered the order had been sent to an inaccurate address and had been returned to Evine. They refused to resend the order to me and eventually did refund the cost. One of the orders was missing a cream. Upon notifying customer service of this, I was again told a customer service supervisor would phone me back within 24 hours.

Of course, that never happened even after two attempts by me to speak to a supervisor. All I wanted was the missing cream to be sent to me. I spoke with a supervisor named Billy who actually hung up on me as I was explaining that I would no longer order from Evine. Please avoid this company. There is NO customer service, and they obviously do not care about the customer.

I order two set of christmas lights and they send one to avoid my discount on the second one. Many other problem. They ran my credit without my permission. I'm still with my christmas gift. This company won't last. I was unaware of the dangers of the Swagway when I placed my order. Once this item arrived I no longer felt safe in my own home. My yr-old son enjoyed the Swagway but he too also was afraid it would catch fire. We decided to return the item after having it about a week.

Evine refused to pay for return shipping. I pleaded with them, that due to nationwide consumer safety reports and complaints, the Swagway is possibly dangerous and unsafe.
